Patch Notes:
  • Added new Halloween items to the 'Pumpkin Chest'.

Arua:
  • Added 'Nine-Tails' back items to the Item Mall.

Classic:
  • Added Halloween Event.
  • Added 'Stunna Shades Box' to the Item Mall.
  • Added a tooltip for 'Start Position' on character creation.
  • Enabled the Survival Arena for the 100-130 level brackets.

As we've previously spoken about, the current Game Arenas are being converted to our new modular Arena system which was created for Battle Royale. This allows us to add in new features with ease, and fix outstanding bugs which the Arenas had - and there were a few.

Whilst I appreciate some may not see the benefit in converting the existing Arenas, PvP is a large part of the game and so are Game Arenas - so if we are given the opportunity to fix outstanding bugs, which have otherwise been extremely hard, if not impossible to fix, and make the Arenas more fun and competitive by introducing new features, then we should jump at the chance!

Updated the Akram Quest:
  • Client HUD: A new client HUD has been added which will show the remaining time of the Akram Quest.
  • Key Drop: To unlock the next level, players must kill a predefined number of monsters before the Akram Key has a random chance to drop and unlock the next level. As you kill more monsters, the chance of the Akram Key dropping increases.
  • Killing Proof: To receive full rewards, players must kill at least one monster which can include the Boss.
  • Monster Spawning: A set number of monsters will spawn on each wave. They will only respawn once all monsters of the current wave have been killed. If you appear to have no monsters left, then there is still some monsters remaining for the current wave.
  • Rejoining: If you are disconnected, you have the ability to rejoin the Akram Quest and will spawn at the start of the current level. Your entitlement to full rewards is reset unless you kill a monster after rejoining.
  • Respawning: If a player dies, or disconnect, they will respawn at the start of the current level.
  • Time Limit: A 30 minute time limit has been added. Once this passes, you will receive a reduced reward.

Updated the Survival Arena:
  • Kill Feed: The kill feed - Player X killed Player Y - is now shown to all players across the map.
  • Kill Zone: After the warm up period has ended, the kill zone is created and starts to decrease in size over a period of 15 minutes. The kill zone centers in on the center of the map - the central bonfire zone - and anyone who remains outside of the kill zone will lose health every second.
  • Performance: Improved across the Survival islands.
  • Rewards: The top three players will receive bonus Arena Score based on their total kills.
  • Spawning: Players will now spawn randomly throughout the Survival islands.
  • Time Limit: To force the Arena to be more action oriented, a new 15 minute time limit has been imposed. After 15 minutes, the kill zone is removed and all remaining players will start to lose health.
  • Warm Up: To allow all players to load into the Survival islands, there is now a 15 second warm up period at the start of the game. During this time you won't be able to move, attack or use a skill.
  • Others:
    • Minimum players has been decreased to 10.
    • Chat is restricted whilst inside the Arena.
    • Player names are shown whilst in the Arena.
    • The Minimap is hidden whilst inside the Arena.
    • The 'Stealth' skill is completely disabled whilst inside the Arena.
    • The Top 3 players are given Arena Score & Experience, with bonuses given for the amount of kills you have.
    • The Arena hud is shown on the left side of the screen, showing the total amount of players alive and time remaining.
    • Leaving the Arena by any means is the same as losing or being killed, no matter how many players are remaining.
    • You cannot rejoin the Arena if you are disconnected.
    • You are able to join the Arena whilst in a party - you will not leave the party or be kicked from it when joining.

Updated the Capture the Fairy Arena:
  • Auto Buffs: To mitigate issues/complaints we've received with Clerics in Game Arenas - in particular, those who refuse to help team mates or no Cleric being on a team - we have added Auto Buffing for Arenas. You will receive a full set of buffs after spawning.
  • Fairy Carrier: When the carrier is killed, a notification will be sent to all players across the map. Carriers will have their speed capped.
  • Fairy Respawn: When the fairy has been captured, or the fairy carrier has been killed, the fairy will respawn at the teams base after 1 minute.
  • Rankings: We will be keeping track of your Total Kills, Fairy Carrier Kills, Fairy Captures and Team Wins for rankings.
  • Rewards: Players will receive bonus Arena Score for capturing the fairy.
  • Rejoin: You have the opportunity to rejoin the Arena if you are disconnected. Arena Score will be deducted from you if you fail to reconnect before the Arena ends.
  • Teams: The teams are now fully randomised at the start of the Arena.
  • Time Limit: A 40 minute time limit has been placed on the Arena. After 40 minutes, the team with the highest score will win. In the case of a draw, all players will receive a smaller reward.
  • Warm Up: There is a short 5 second warm up period to allow all players to load into the map. During this time you won't be able to move, attack or use a skill.
  • Others:
    • The respawn timer has been removed. This was previously added to allow players time to be rebuffed, which isn't needed as long as Auto Buffs are enabled.
    • The Arena hud is shown on the left side of the screen, showing the scores for each team, the status of the fairy and time remaining.
    • Leaving the Arena by any means is the same as losing or being killed, no matter how many players are remaining.
    • If all players disconnect from a team, the game is forfeit and the other team automatically win.
